Our most impactful piece of work to date.
Working in partnership with the Global Conservation Corps, Friendly Human is in the process of creating a feature-length documentary highlighting the brave men and women who stand between wildlife and poachers. Being a ranger isn't easy, it certainly isn't fun, but it is necessary. These individuals do their job not for money, seeing as they make about $400 a month, but for their passion and love for the animals.
After self-funding 5 trips to South Africa, we are now in the final stages of post-production. We are beyond excited to share this piece with you, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoyed the trailer! It is such a pleasure to be able to work such an amazing organization that is dedicated to creating change. Poaching is driving undescribable separation and despair throughout the whole country, and this film is just the start of raising awareness on the global issue. We encourage you to check out their website and find other ways to help if you have the means to do so.
In order to make the most of this documentary, we turned to social media. Already having content and images from our 5 trips to South Africa, we were sure we could create a following. Going from no followers in 2016 to 44,000 followers today - we guessed right.
