It is incredibly important for you to know the basic steps of how we work. We believe that most of the negative experiences people have with video are process problems. We work hard on our process everyday to provide you the best experience and product possible. Here are some of the basics that make our process so friendly.
Every project must start with a clear goal in mind. During the ideation process we define that goal and work back towards a creative solution, creating a map from where we are now to where we want to go.
Blastoff! Once the scope is set and agreements are signed the project is underway. Shooting dates are scheduled and a visual look is created. Part of this step is to outline the video in our proprietary Storyline framework. Much like storyboards are used for narrative works to combine dialog with visuals, Storylines combine the story with the marketing strategy.
Now it’s time to have some real fun. Lights! Camera! Action! (We promise never to actually yell this during a shoot.) We’ll prep you with a guide and hold your hand with a super talented professional director. Getting shot has never been less painful.
If the shoot was the fun, this is the work. We’ll take the video and begin crafting a succinct story from it, but editing is just the first step. From there we’ll sweeten the audio, color grade the look, and pick just the right tune to make the whole thing come alive.
Once the post is finished, we’ll send you a private link to watch the video along with the actual video itself. If everything looks good, the video is yours. We don’t “lease” videos or sell convoluted hosting plans like some companies. We created this video for you, and we believe you should have the right to put this thing wherever helps you the most.
After you’ve had the video in the wild for a while, we’ll circle back around for one more meeting see how it’s performing for you, answer any questions, and offer any ideas for increasing your viewership.
